HEROIC reselected as an Esports Foundation Club Partner for 2026
For the second consecutive year, HEROIC has officially entered into a strategic marketing partnership with The Esports Foundation (previously known as the Esports World Cup Foundation). This renewed collaboration is designed to significantly strengthen the club's marketing initiatives, elevate high-quality content production, and improve global fan engagement. Securing this partnership means HEROIC joins an exclusive, invite-only group of 40 premier esports clubs internationally.
The Esports World Cup (EWC) is a premier annual sporting event and global celebration of competitive excellence and esports fandom. At the heart of the competition is the EWC Club Championship, featuring a unique cross-game format that pits the world’s top esports Clubs against one another for the largest prize pool in esports history.

HEROIC CEO Joachim Harg shared his optimism for the year ahead:
“We’re very excited to be back in the CPP for 2026. Returning as a partner team is a strong signal that the work we’ve put in over the past year has landed well, and we’re looking to build on that momentum. We’ll be bringing our fans closer to the action and continuing to deliver the most entertaining content. The Esports World Cup has become a truly remarkable, one-of-a-kind event on the calendar, and we’re looking forward to being back and fighting for glory.”
As the 2026 season accelerates, HEROIC fans can expect a steady flow of content and behind-the-scenes access. Between the critical April 6th Valve Regional Standings (VRS) cutoff for the upcoming IEM Cologne Major and a rapidly intensifying Dota 2 spring circuit, the competitive stakes are high and we can't wait to bring you along for the ride.
